There's a man on the island who plays the trumpet each night
this morning a seagull preens itself - an elaborate ritual performed on one leg
two Japanese women chase a Canada Goose
a Red Admiral flutters out to sea
the ferry circles in the water to face the right direction
creating a whirlpool of waves
as i tie my shoe lace i glance up
to see someone taking my photograph
